Job summary

LegalZoom is seeking a Corporate Finance Manager to lead forecasting and performance management within our Corporate Finance team. You will partner with Finance leaders to translate drivers into a clear outlook and guide strategic decision-making.

The role is highly visible, expects ownership, and emphasizes AI-enabled automation and innovative tools. You’ll work across planning, AOP, and long-range planning, delivering concise senior-leadership reporting and actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant FP&A, investment banking, consulting or a similarly analytical environment.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; ability to understand complex businesses and drivers.
• Strong business judgment and critical thinking; translate data into insights and actions.
• Ownership mindset; take responsibility and drive outcomes.
• Natural curiosity and a builder's mindset; experiment with better processes and AI tools.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; BI or data visualization tools are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage forecasting and performance management processes.
• Develop understanding of business drivers and translate insights into actionable forecasts.
• Own and improve financial models for accuracy and scalability.
• Prepare concise reporting for senior leadership and CFO.
• Partner with Finance teams to understand performance and risks.
• Lead planning, forecasting, and long-range planning activities.
• Explore automation and AI to streamline processes and improve analysis.
• Tackle high-priority analytical and strategic projects as needed across Corporate Finance.
