Ledgent in Phoenix seeks an analytical FP&A / M&A Manager to lead financial planning, forecasting, corporate development, and transaction support for strategic initiatives.

Reporting to the VP of Finance, you will build models, manage budgets, perform due diligence, and prepare presentations for executives and boards. We value a data-driven approach and strong communication with cross-functional partners.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 6+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Transaction Advisory, Corporate Development, or related disciplines.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, due diligence, and transaction execution.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience creating executive-level financial presentations and business recommendations.

Aufgaben

• Lead the annual budgeting, long-range planning, and monthly forecasting processes.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning, investment decisions, and strategic initiatives.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting packages for executive leadership.
• Analyze financial and operational performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Partner with business leaders to develop actionable recommendations that drive revenue growth, profitability, and cash flow improvements.
• Support Board, investor, and executive presentations with meaningful financial insights.
• Monitor KPIs and provide variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior year results.
• Improve and automate financial reporting tools, dashboards, and planning processes.
• Support acquisition strategy through target identification, financial analysis, and valuation modeling.
• Coordinate financial due diligence and work with external advisors, investment bankers, auditors, and legal counsel.
• Evaluate acquisition opportunities, strategic partnerships, and divestiture transactions.
• Develop investment memorandums and executive-level presentations supporting transaction recommendations.
• Assist with post-merger integration planning, synergy tracking, and performance measurement.
• Monitor industry trends, market activity, and competitive intelligence to support growth strategy.
• Serve as a trusted business partner to executive leadership.
• Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to evaluate strategic alternatives.
• Support capital allocation decisions and business case development.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives including market expansion, product launches, and organizational investments.
