Job summary

BDO USA is seeking an FP&A Business Line Leader to oversee financial analysis and planning for a specific business line such as Advisory or Specialty Assurance. You will collaborate with business line leaders to provide insights and recommendations that drive strategic decisions and improve financial performance.

The role supports planning and forecasting activities tailored to the business line’s needs, partnering with firm leaders to anticipate issues and maximize profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Six or more years of finance experience.
• Prior managerial experience preferred.
• Experience in professional services firms preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Leverages technology to research, compile and analyze financial information, both standard and ad hoc.
• Monitors and analyzes financial performance against budgets/forecasts.
• Researches and determines causes of budget variances and communicates to the leaders.
• Works with leaders this role supports to prepare budgets, forecasts and long-term plans.
• Provides supplemental financial processes/systems training to end users and seeks ways to improve processes.
