Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Business Line Leader to oversee financial analysis and planning for a defined business line such as Advisory or Specialty Assurance. You will collaborate with business line leaders to provide insights that drive strategic decisions and improve profitability.

The role emphasizes budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning, with a focus on cross-functional partnership, accuracy, and timely reporting to executives and clients.

Qualifications

• Six or more years of finance experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Experience in a professional services firm preferred
• Strong Excel skills

Responsibilities

• Leverages technology to research, compile and analyze financial information
• Monitors and analyzes financial performance against budgets/forecasts
• Collaborates with leaders to prepare budgets, forecasts and long-term plans
• Provides training on financial processes and systems
• Supports preparation of executive materials
