Job summary

BDO USA is seeking an FP&A Business Line Leader to oversee financial analysis and planning for a defined business line, such as Advisory or Specialty Assurance. You will partner with line leaders to drive insights, enhance profitability and minimize risk while guiding budgets and long-term plans.

The role requires a strong leadership presence, advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/FP&A systems. Expect interaction with senior executives and the opportunity to shape firm strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; focus preferred.
• Six (6) or more years of finance experience required.
• Experience in a professional services firm preferred.
• Prior managerial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leverages technology to research, compile and analyze financial information, both standard and ad hoc.
• Monitors and analyzes financial performance against budgets/forecasts.
• Researches and determines causes of budget variances and communicates to the leaders.
• Works with leaders this role supports to prepare budgets, forecasts and long-term plans.
• Provides supplemental financial processes/systems training to end users, and seeks process improvements.
