Job summary

Archer is seeking a Senior Director, Corporate FP&A in San Jose, CA to lead enterprise-wide financial planning, analysis, and reporting. You will partner with the CFO and executive team to align financial objectives with strategy, and drive long-range plans and forecasting.

You will mentor a high-performing FP&A organization, deliver data-driven insights to the Board, and advance automation and analytics to improve forecasting accuracy and efficiency at Archer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive experience across Corporate FP&A, Strategic Finance, Investment Banking, or related finance functions.
• 8+ years leading teams and influencing senior stakeholders within complex, cross-functional organizations.
• Foundational experience within Hardware, Manufacturing, Aerospace, Aviation, Automotive, Industrial, or other capital-intensive industries.
• Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical capabilities; M&A or strategic finance experience preferred.
• Proven ability to influence peer-level stakeholders and present to executive leadership and Board audiences.
• Experience leading enterprise-wide planning, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
• Systems-oriented and operationally minded leadership style focused on scalability, efficiency, and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the CFO and executive leadership to align financial objectives with corporate strategy.
• Lead the annual operating plan, long-range financial plan, and rolling forecast across the enterprise.
• Deliver data-driven insights, scenario modeling, and decision support for strategic initiatives and capital investments.
• Synthesize complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for the Board and senior management.
• Drive FP&A process improvements, automation, dashboards, and forecasting accuracy.
