Required is a CPA preferred; background in SAP S/4HANA and Big 4/corporate accounting is valued; strong Excel and data skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience in public and corporate settings.
• Hands-on experience with large ERP systems (SAP preferred) and strong Excel/data skills.
• Deep understanding of US GAAP and technical accounting research.
• Strong organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy and quality in financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end accounting for assigned areas, including journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules (Leases ASC 842, Intercompany, Prepaids, Accruals, Cash, Payroll).
• Interpret and apply US GAAP and policy to complex transactions as SME for assigned areas.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with clear variance explanations.
• Manage intercompany reconciliations and eliminations with global stakeholders for consolidation.
• Identify opportunities to enhance controls, streamline processes, and automate workflows.
• Ensure strong SOX compliance through documentation and internal controls improvements.
• Serve as a primary contact for external auditors, including PBCs and audit inquiries.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Supply Chain, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and SEC Reporting for accurate reporting.
• Mentor junior team members through knowledge sharing and guidance.
