Job summary

Foster McKay in New Jersey is seeking a strategic Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis to lead the FP&A function and partner with executive leadership to translate strategy into financial plans.

You will build a scalable FP&A organization, own the operating plan, long-range planning, forecasts, and provide actionable insights to drive disciplined financial management across the company.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing FP&A organization with senior financial leaders.
• Recruit, coach, and build FP&A talent.
• Own the company's annual operating plan, long-range planning, quarterly forecasts, and monthly outlooks.
• Consolidate budgets, forecasts, headcount plans, and investments into a cohesive enterprise plan.
• Oversee board deck prep, lender/PE reporting, and M&A due diligence support.
• Partner with executives to evaluate performance, identify risks and opportunities, and support decisions.
• Support leadership on board materials and operating reviews related to financial performance.
• Lead monthly business reviews for shared functions with budget-to-actual analyses.
• Oversee financial reporting and KPI development with timely, accurate insights.
• Coordinate with accounting for close, forecast integrity, and alignment with plans.
• Own Anaplan/NetSuite roadmap and data architecture; push FP&A system improvements.
• Improve planning processes, reporting, and governance for accuracy and efficiency.
• Oversee commission forecasting, accruals, and sales-forecast alignment with reports.
• Partner with Sales Operations to optimize Salesforce financial reporting and bookings forecasts.
• Evaluate investments and strategic initiatives through financial modeling.
• Represent Finance on cross-functional initiatives and advise leadership.
