Job summary

Foster McKay is seeking a Director of Strategic Finance to drive the company’s long-range planning, financial modeling, and capital strategy. You will own the integrated operating model, guide M&A workstreams, and partner with executive leadership to translate strategy into numbers.

You will build repeatable processes, coach analysts, and deliver executive-ready analyses and board materials. A builder’s role with significant cross-functional impact across the business.

Qualifications

• Required: 6+ years in corporate finance or related growth/ sponsor-backed environment.
• Demonstrated ownership of integrated three-statement models and long-range plans with scenario analysis.
• Direct experience leading or supporting M&A, licensing, or JV transactions through diligence and close.
• Working command of credit agreements, covenant mechanics, and capital structure analysis.
• Experience presenting to C-suite and Board audiences.
• Experience mentoring analysts or managers.

Responsibilities

• Own the integrated operating model, long-range plan, and scenario framework with governance.
• Lead annual and multi-year planning cycles to turn strategy into financial outcomes.
• Build sensitivity analyses on portfolio mix, licensing, capital allocation, and cost structure.
• Set modeling standards with reusable architecture and clear assumptions.
• Own debt capacity, liquidity forecasting, and refinancing scenarios.
• Lead M&A, licensing, and JV diligence from screen through post-close tracking.
• Provide analysis behind capital decisions and present recommendations to CFO/CEO.
• Coordinate external advisers and cross-functional diligence to deadlines.
• Prepare Board and executive materials; communicate concise, defensible narratives.
