Job summary

Golden 1 Credit Union in Sacramento, CA seeks a strategic finance leader to manage the annual budget, multi-year Financial Plan, and forecasts across the enterprise. You will design FP&A models, deliver executive reports, and drive performance with KPI dashboards and financial presentations.

You will ensure GAAP alignment, analyze trends, and mentor the Budget Planning & Analysis team while partnering with the VP-Controller to support enterprise initiatives and scalable decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
• CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred.
• 8+ years of FP&A, budgeting, or related financial management roles.
• Financial institution experience preferred.
• Prior leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manage, lead, and develop Golden 1’s annual budget, multi-year Financial Plan, and periodic forecasts.
• Design and develop FP&A models at departmental and enterprise levels.
• Lead enterprise-wide budgeting process and deliver executive reporting packages, KPI dashboards, and financial presentations.
• Deliver monthly financial reporting packages with forward-looking insights into performance and drivers.
• Apply GAAP and regulatory knowledge to align plans and projections.
• Collaborate with VP – Controller and EPMO to reflect enterprise initiatives in the Financial Plan.
• Oversee ACL analysis and reporting and incorporate credit risk insights into planning.
• Mentor Budget Planning & Analysis team and foster a results-driven culture.

Education
