Job summary

PB Materials is seeking a Financial Analyst to provide accurate financial insights across Ready Mix/Aggregates and corporate segments. You will analyze statements, build models, and present findings to management to drive cost improvements and strategic decisions.

The role requires collaboration with operations and finance teams, strong Excel skills, and the ability to communicate complex data clearly. This on-site position is based in Odessa, Texas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CMA a plus.
• Proven working experience as a financial analyst.
• Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software.
• Outstanding presentation, reporting, and communication skills.
• Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market and business environments.
• Must be willing to travel to operations facilities to provide financial training and support.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and presentations.
• Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts, etc.).
• Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking, and process analysis.
• Identify trends, advise FP&A Manager on actions.
• Track actual results vs forecasts and explain significant variances to budget.
• Assist Operations with capital expenditure requests, ROI analysis, and monthly reporting.
• Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives.
• Provide guidance to managers to analyze financial reports.
