Job summary

Applied Materials is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst III in Austin, TX, to support the Global Corporate Functions team. This role requires driving financial reporting, forecasting, and balance-sheet analysis, partnering with HR, Legal, and Procurement to enable data-driven decisions.

You will coordinate close cycles, improve reporting processes, and work with tools like BPC and Anaplan. Travel is up to 10% and relocation is not required. Full-time, regular employment with benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business-related degree preferred).
• Strong systems skills, including Excel, AI, BPC, Anaplan, and SAP.
• 4-7 years of experience.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Strong ability to collaborate with business partners to help drive priorities and strategy.
• Strong attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Must be motivated to work within a team in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Support reporting and analysis related to financial close, forecast cycles, balance sheet review, and AOP.
• Ensure successful finance operating rhythm through coordination & communication within the organization.
• Work with financial reporting tools (experience with BPC and Anaplan is a strong plus).
• Support Finance, Indirect Procurement, HR, and Legal business partners in ad hoc finance reporting and analysis to enable better business decision making.
• Help streamline reporting and centralizing analytics, drive process improvement.
• Act as a liaison between Corporate Functions and Corporate FP&A to ensure accurate financial reporting and enhanced communication.
