Nordstrom in Seattle is seeking a Finance Manager, Corporate FP&A to lead monthly close reporting, prepare Board materials, and provide insights to the executive team. This role blends rigorous financial analysis with storytelling to connect results to enterprise strategy.

You will partner across FP&A, Accounting, and business partners, drive automation and AI-enabled reporting, and ensure data integrity while delivering timely, concise narratives for leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or a similar area.
• Minimum of 5+ years progressive experience in retail or a similar sector.
• Experience building and owning flexible, scalable reports and tools.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint abilities, including complex formulas; Oracle/Anaplan/SQL a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with ability to influence peers and leaders.
• Strong storytelling skills translating complex finance into concise insights.

Responsabilités

• Manage monthly close timelines and storylines across Accounting, FP&A, and business partners.
• Create MBR, quarterly Board, and leadership materials with clear narratives.
• Partner across Corp FP&A to interpret results against plan and signal outlooks.
• Drive automation and AI-enabled reporting to streamline close and KPI workflows.
• Maintain definitions, structures, controls, and track COA progress.
• Track retail and industry trends and communicate potential impacts on results.
• Deliver ad hoc analyses for Finance leadership.
