The candidate should have 5+ years in retail finance, advanced Excel/PowerPoint, and experience building scalable reports and narratives that connect results to enterprise strategy, with strong communication and ownership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field.
• 5+ years progressive experience in retail or a similar sector.
• Experience building and owning flexible, scalable reports and tools for decision making.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint abilities; complex formulas.
• Experience with Oracle, Anaplan and SQL is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication with ability to influence.
• Strong storytelling to translate financial analysis into actionable insights.
• Ability to quickly understand partner work products and translate for reports.
• Strong organizational skills and commitment to data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly close timelines and storylines across Accounting, FP&A, and business partners.
• Create MBR, quarterly Board, and leadership materials with concise narratives tied to enterprise themes.
• Interpret results versus plan and communicate outlook implications for executive narratives.
• Drive automation, AI, and process improvements for internal reporting and KPIs.
• Maintain definitions, structures, and controls; track chart of accounts progress.
• Track retail and industry trends and their potential impact on results.
• Deliver ad hoc analyses for Finance leadership.
