Job summary

US Farathane is seeking a strategic, hands-on Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis across the organization. This highly visible leadership role shapes business decisions, strengthens plant-level financial performance, and identifies opportunities to improve margins and cash flow.

Reporting to the executive team, you will oversee cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, BOM analysis, and margin analysis, guiding plant

Qualifications

• Three or more years of financial planning experience.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Strong understanding of inventory valuation and material management implications.
• Proven leadership capabilities and the ability to manage a global team.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
• Hands-on, self-motivated approach to new challenges.
• Ability to manage projects from planning through completion.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of monthly and annual budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
• Review monthly financial results and drive actions to improve margins and cash flow.
• Assess the accuracy of financial results and prepare performance reporting for the executive team.
• Analyze plant performance against budgets, forecasts, and historical trends.
• Lead and support financial staff across the organization’s manufacturing plants.
• Review capital expenditure recommendations using ROI calculations.
• Evaluate financial and operational risks and mitigate exposure.
• Analyze labor, material costs, overhead, BOMs, and inventories.
• Partner with leaders to identify issues and drive timely resolutions.
• Identify process improvements and internal controls weaknesses, then lead corrective actions.
• Analyze potential excess and obsolete inventory each month.
• Review and update standard overhead rates and labor costs as needed.
• Evaluate internal controls to safeguard assets and support reporting.
• Assist with special projects and strategic initiatives.
