Job summary

US Farathane is seeking a Manufacturing Planning Engineer to join our team. The role blends hands-on engineering, project management, and strategic planning to support our plastics manufacturing network and capital projects across facilities.

The successful candidate will collaborate with engineering and operations to drive equipment standardization, implement new processes, and train staff on equipment operation and maintenance. Travel to multiple facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or similar field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel to support multiple facilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to USF facilities on project-related issues and equipment problems.
• Assist with facility development engineering projects from concept through implementation.
• Manage projects, schedules, and resources to support capital initiatives.
• Assist with training USF staff on equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
• Support equipment standardization efforts across the manufacturing network.
