Hubbell Incorporated in Largo, FL (or Westbury, NY) seeks a strategic Finance Director to lead FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis for the Protection and Controls business. This role offers high visibility and shapes financial decisions through partnership with senior leaders.

You will build robust models, drive forecast discipline, and deliver insightful reports to executives while partnering with operations to optimize resources across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
• 7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or corporate finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with experience influencing senior executives.
• Proficiency in financial systems and tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, OneStream, SAP).
• Experience in a fast-paced, matrixed organization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A: develop annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range plans.
• Deliver analysis of results, KPIs, and trends to support strategic decisions.
• Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and board materials.
• Partner with VP/GM and leaders to evaluate investments and allocate resources.
• Build and maintain financial models for scenarios, risks and opportunities.
• Drive process improvements in FP&A tools and processes.
• Collaborate with VP/GM and VP-Finance to improve forecast accuracy.
