Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Director of Finance to lead FP&A and provide key business decision analysis. You will manage monthly P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning to guide strategy.

The role involves mentoring a remote team of Finance Managers and partnering with Sales & Operations to align financial projections with business goals. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of relevant experience, strong Excel and Oracle ERP skills, and excellent communication to explain

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience with at least 5 years in a senior FP&A role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; alternative combos accepted.
• Strong expertise in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and analysis.
• Experience with financial modeling, cost analysis and profitability management.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to non-financial stakeholders.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly closing of all P&L activity and analyze profitability.
• Lead the development and management of annual budgets, forecasts and long-term plans.
• Create financial models to evaluate risks, opportunities and business cases.
• Provide insights to support pricing, cost control and capex decisions.
• Present projections and results to Senior Leadership with clarity and transparency.
• Mentor and develop a remote team of Finance Managers.
