Job summary

TetraScience, Inc. in Boston seeks a senior FP&A leader to act as the CFO’s right hand and trusted business partner. You will own the financial model, forecast cycles, and strategic reporting, including monthly closes and board-ready analyses.

You will streamline the flow of information for the leadership team, oversee KPI reporting (ARR, ACV, NRR, CAC payback), and drive finance automation using AI tools to explain results and enable faster decisions.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of FP&A, corporate finance or equivalent experience in high-growth tech.
• CFA, CPA or MBA welcomed, not a substitute for modeling depth.
• Fluent with SaaS metrics (ARR, ACV, NRR, GRR, CAC payback, burn).
• Excellent written and verbal communication for executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own the financial model end-to-end and maintain AI-assisted workflows.
• Lead monthly flash, month-end close, and variance analyses with executive reviews.
• Coordinate Plan/Actual/Variance reporting and root cause analyses.
• Drive KPI reporting (ARR, ACV, NRR, CAC payback) and pipeline visibility.
• Support global headcount planning and vendor/SaaS budgeting.
• Prepare briefing materials and act as finance partner for HR, Recruiting, IT and Marketing.
• Publish budget-versus-actual P&Ls for G&A, R&D and Delivery.
• Manage lending/investor reporting and due diligence support.
