Job summary

CDM Smith Inc. seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to serve as a strategic partner to leadership, guiding financial decisions that drive growth, profitability, and operational excellence. You will manage budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling and reporting while ensuring control and accuracy across projects.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize performance, analyze revenue and margins, and develop executive dashboards. Proficiency with Power BI and Oracle ERP is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in FP&A, corporate finance, project accounting or related financial role.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling and performance analysis.
• Knowledge of revenue recognition principles and project financial management.
• Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business recommendations.
• Experience partnering with leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to influence decisions.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling; strong Office Suite skills.
• Experience with financial reporting, KPI development, and business performance analysis.
• Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools; proficiency with Oracle ERP or other enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Trinnex leadership to provide financial insights, forecasting and recommendations for strategic decisions.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling and long-range planning processes.
• Analyze financial and operational performance including revenue, profitability, project margins and key metrics.
• Monitor project financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with Operations and Project Accounting on revenue recognition, contract review and billing.
• Develop and maintain executive dashboards, KPI reporting, financial analyses and presentations.
• Support financial controls, process improvements and operational efficiency.
• Leverage Power BI, Oracle, Excel and other systems to enhance reporting and decision-making.
