CDM Smith Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to act as a strategic partner to leadership, guiding financial decisions that drive growth, profitability, and operational excellence across projects.

You will participate in financial planning, forecasting, project accounting support, performance reporting, and decision-making using Power BI, Oracle, and Excel to enhance analytics and reporting capabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) or related finance roles.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling capabilities.
• Knowledge of revenue recognition principles and project financial management.
• Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business recommendations.
• Experience partnering with business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial insights, forecasting, and recommendations to support strategic decisions.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and long-range planning.
• Analyze revenue, profitability, project margins, resource utilization, and key metrics.
• Monitor project financial performance; identify risks and opportunities; propose improvements.
• Collaborate with Operations/Project Accounting for revenue recognition and compliance.
• Develop executive dashboards, KPI reporting, and management presentations.
• Support controls and process improvements across the business.
