Job summary

VelocityEHS is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to own core planning, forecasting, reporting, and decision-support workstreams within the FP&A team. You will partner with business leaders to translate performance into a clear financial outlook and provide practical recommendations.

The role requires strong financial modeling, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate with senior stakeholders. Excellent analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years accounting and/or financial analysis experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint.
• Fundamental understanding of 3-statement financial model.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned components of annual budget, quarterly reforecasts, and long-range planning.
• Serve as trusted business partner to leadership on performance & spend.
• Lead monthly and quarterly reporting including close review and board-level reporting.
• Prepare management-ready materials for ELT, Board, and investor reporting.
• Maintain EPM models, reporting structures, and data integrity.
• Analyze revenue and SaaS metrics across teams and products.
• Lead ad hoc financial and strategic analyses as needed.
• Communicate conclusions and risks clearly to financial and non-financial audiences.
• Handle high-level requests from initial question to final output with limited direction.
