Job summary

ESS, a leading education staffing company, is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to own budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. This hands-on role partners with operational leaders and senior management to turn data into actionable insights.

You will build and maintain driver-based models, analyze variances, and present recommendations to drive profitability and growth. The position offers direct exposure to senior leadership and strategic initiatives, including pricing

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of FP&A experience.
Lead budgets and forecasts and build financial models from the ground up.
Advanced Excel skills and comfort with large datasets.
Experience presenting financial results to non-finance leaders.
Strong experience with Workday Adaptive Planning.

Responsibilities

Lead the annual budget and long-range planning processes.
Own monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts, partnering with business leaders to keep them realistic.
Build scenario analyses and driver-based models to evaluate opportunities and risks.
Analyze revenue, labor costs, margins and expenses against budget/forecast/prior year; explain drivers.
Prepare reporting packages and presentations for senior management with clear recommendations.
Provide ad hoc analysis to support operational and strategic decisions.
