CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to act as a strategic business partner, guiding financial decisions that drive growth and operational excellence. The role focuses on planning, forecasting, project finance, and performance reporting across the business.

You will collaborate with leadership to deliver insights, build models, and develop executive dashboards using Power BI and Oracle ERP.

Qualifications

Experience in FP&A or related finance role.
Budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis experience.
Knowledge of revenue recognition and project financial management.
Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business recommendations.
Experience partnering with business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Provide financial insights, forecasting, and recommendations that support strategic decision-making and growth.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and long-range planning processes.
Analyze revenue, profitability, project margins, resource utilization, and key business metrics.
Monitor project financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend improvements.
Collaborate with Operations and Project Accounting to support revenue recognition, contract review, client billing, and compliance.
Develop and maintain executive dashboards, KPI reporting, analyses, and management presentations.
Support financial controls and process improvement initiatives across the business.
Leverage Power BI, Oracle, Excel, and other systems to enhance reporting and decision-making.
