Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to act as a strategic partner to leadership, guiding financial decisions that drive growth, profitability, and operational excellence. You’ll manage budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning, while analyzing performance across projects and departments.

You’ll leverage Power BI, Oracle ERP, and Excel to deliver insights, dashboards, and financial analyses, supporting revenue recognition, contracting, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in FP&A, corporate finance, project accounting, or related financial role.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance analysis skills.
• Knowledge of revenue recognition principles and project financial management.
• Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business recommendations.
• Experience partnering with leaders and cross‑functional stakeholders to influence decisions.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling; proficient MS Office.
• Experience with financial reporting, KPI development, and business performance analysis.
• Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Trinnex leadership to provide financial insights, forecasting, and recommendations that support strategic decision‑making and business growth.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and long‑range planning processes.
• Analyze financial and operational performance, including revenue, profitability, project margins, and key metrics.
• Monitor project financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and provide actionable improvements.
• Collaborate with Operations and Project Accounting on revenue recognition, contract review, and client billing.
• Develop and maintain executive dashboards, KPI reporting, and management presentations.
• Support controls and process improvement initiatives across the business.
