Job summary

Metropolis in Seattle is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to be a core engine for our corporate finance function. You will build institutional-grade models, translate data into strategic stories, and influence stakeholders across our fast-growing organization.

You will own forecasting cycles, variance analysis, board-ready reports, and ROI analysis for market expansions and new products. A four-day in-office schedule supports collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Corporate Finance, FP&A, or Investment Banking in a high-growth tech environment.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/EPM systems (e.g., NetSuite, Adaptive Insights, Anaplan).
• Strong GAAP knowledge and ability to deconstruct unit economics across diverse business lines.
• Proven ability to leverage generative AI and advanced data tools to accelerate financial modeling and automate routine reporting.
• Proven track record of delivering forward-looking guidance and executive storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end forecasting cycles (monthly, quarterly, annual).
• Perform variance analysis to explain the drivers behind the numbers for leadership insights.
• Build dynamic financial models for capital allocation, LRPs, and ROI analyses.
• Act as financial advisor to business units, translating performance into enterprise impact.
• Help manage OpEx and headcount in line with profitability goals.
• Prepare board-ready reporting packages and internal dashboards.
• Conduct data integrity checks to maintain a single source of truth.
