Job summary

Metropolis is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to serve as a key engine for our corporate finance function. You are a high-fidelity analytical thinker who builds institutional-grade models and translates data into strategic insights that influence stakeholders across a rapidly scaling organization.

You will drive monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting, manage variance analysis, and support capital allocation and long-range planning.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive experience in Corporate Finance, FP&A, or Investment Banking, preferably in a high-growth technology environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, nested logic, macros) and experience with ERP/EPM systems (NetSuite, Adaptive Insights, Anaplan).
• Solid GAAP knowledge and ability to deconstruct unit economics across diverse business lines.
• Experience leveraging generative AI and data tools to accelerate financial modeling and automate routine reporting.

Responsibilities

• Drive the end-to-end forecasting cycles (monthly, quarterly, annual).
• Lead complex variance analysis to explain the numbers for leadership.
• Build dynamic financial models for capital allocation and long-range planning.
• Advise business units and translate performance into enterprise impact.
• Help manage OpEx and headcount with profitability goals.
• Prepare board-ready reporting packages and management dashboards.
• Ensure data integrity as the single source of truth and refine workflows.
• Identify opportunities to automate processes and document SOPs.
