Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a contract FP&A professional for Minneapolis, MN to transform reporting into scalable dashboards. You will partner with finance and analytics teams, connect drivers to business performance, and enable leaders to act on insights with clean, repeatable processes.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision support, automation of FP&A workflows, and experience with Power BI/Tableau. On-site work is required in Minneapolis.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive FP&A/Commercial Finance experience.
• Strong financial modeling, variance analysis, and data interpretation skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with large or complex datasets.
• Experience with delivering dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Experience with stakeholder communication and project management.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Commercial Finance and Analytics teams to accelerate projects.
• Convert manual reporting into scalable dashboards and repeatable processes.
• Connect financial and operational drivers to improve transparency.
• Enable leaders to spend less time preparing data and more time acting on insights.
• Build or improve financial reporting, KPI dashboards, or management information solutions.
• Collaborate with Analytics, Data, BI, IT, or systems teams to deliver reporting solutions.
• Operate independently and manage multiple workstreams in a matrixed environment.
• Create momentum in ambiguous, cross-functional projects and bring structure and urgency.
