Job summary

Shawmut Design and Construction is seeking a Senior Analyst for the Corporate FP&A team in a hybrid role based in Boston. The position focuses on budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and automated analytics to support leadership.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years in FP&A or related fields, with strong Excel and BI tool experience, and ability to collaborate across Finance, IT and business units.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; advanced Excel; experience with ERP, planning, reporting, dashboarding, or BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior contributor within Corporate FP&A, solving complex reporting, planning and systems-related problems with limited direction.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting for corporate departments and leadership.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, IT, and regional teams to improve finance system integration and data flows.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards and data visualization to provide actionable insights.
• Identify opportunities to automate FP&A processes and reporting using finance systems and AI-enabled solutions.
• Manage small to mid-sized finance transformation projects from requirements to post-implementation support.
• Ensure data accuracy, reconciliation, and process controls across systems and reports.
• Translate business questions into financial models and analyses for decision-making.
