Job summary

Central Willamette Credit Union is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst – FP&A to act as a strategic partner in financial health and performance. The role spans budgeting, forecasting, scenario modeling, and management reporting across accounts payable, receivable, GL, cash, investments, member shares, and loans.

You will collaborate with leadership, the Controller, CFO, and cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights and drive profitability, efficiency, and member value while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CMA, or CFA preferred)
• 3+ years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis, treasury, ALM, preferably within a financial institution
• Demonstrated understanding of GAAP, financial institution accounting, and regulatory requirements
• Advanced proficiency in accounting and financial analysis tools (e.g., Great Plains, Excel, Power BI, or similar)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

• Develop forecasts, budgets, and long-range financial plans with business units
• Conduct scenario analysis, financial modeling, and sensitivity analysis for initiatives
• Provide actionable insights to improve financial performance, efficiency, and member value
• Prepare and present analyses to senior management and support strategic planning
• Support annual budgeting process with data gathering and variance analysis
• Monitor key financial metrics, trends, and variances for decision making
• Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to drive profitability and efficiency
• Mentor accounting staff and foster teamwork within the department
