Job summary

Aligned Data Center is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A, to support the company’s forecast, annual budget, and operating plans. You will analyze revenue, costs, expenses, and capital expenditures, and partner with department heads to deliver actionable insights.

You will develop financial models, perform variance analysis, and create ad-hoc reports for senior leadership, helping drive strategic initiatives and maintain operating targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; MBA is a plus.
• 4-7 years’ experience in FP&A or transaction services advisory roles.
• Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.
• Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills, high EQ.
• Proactive and highly responsive approach to identifying opportunities that will drive the business forward.
• Outstanding analytic skills, a high degree of intellectual curiosity, and the ability to engage with senior leaders in addressing complex business issues and making recommendations from analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills; Experience with SQL, Dashboards, and/or BI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures.
• Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance and working with respective leaders to develop, implement and track corrective actions needed to return the business to operating targets.
• Ad-Hoc Reporting and in-depth analysis to support Senior Management Team and Department heads.
• Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives.
• Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes.
• Partner and develop strong working relationships with various internal business unit heads to provide financial analysis and forecasting to support the business.
