Blue Origin in Seattle, WA, is seeking a Financial Analyst III to support FP&A processes and drive forward-looking forecasts. The role emphasizes building scalable models, AI-enhanced analysis, and strong collaboration with data engineers to ensure accurate financial insights.

You will develop dashboards, link operational drivers to financial outcomes, and partner with accounting on close cycles. On-site work is required and relocation support is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, engineering, or another highly analytical field.
• 5-7 years of FP&A, corporate finance, or operations finance experience with recurring forecast/budget cycles.
• Strong financial modeling: 3-statement mechanics, driver-based forecasting, scenario analysis.
• GAAP literacy to tie forecast to actuals and interact credibly with accounting on close.
• Ability to connect transaction data to the full financial picture and communicate with leadership.
• SQL fluency to query modern data platforms without data engineering support.
• Advanced analytics tool proficiency (Excel, Power BI, Tableau) for dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly forecast, quarterly reforecast, and annual plan for assigned business area.
• Build models translating operational drivers into P&L, headcount, and cash impact.
• Create dashboards and analyses to illuminate financial performance for leadership.
• Apply AI tooling to automate recurring analysis with controls and validation.
• Reconcile data from source systems and coordinate with data engineering.
• Link transaction-level data to program and company-level outcomes for clear reporting.
• Identify data quality gaps and fix issues at the source.
• Produce reusable analytical assets and documentation for others.
