Merck in North Wales, PA seeks an Associate Director, Strategic Forecasting to lead forecasting for assets and indications, partnering with Marketing, Market Access, Finance and Data Science to deliver insights that guide strategy.

You will develop models, interpret results, and communicate findings to drive the marketing and commercial plan. Hybrid work and global collaboration are expected.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant delivery of complex analytical projects in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry using market research and/or large patient or physician databases.
• Experience in developing forecast models and/or related analytics (e.g., scenario analysis, business case development, etc.)
• Experience working in highly cross-functional, matrixed teams. Demonstrated ability to collaborate and lead with empathy and compassion.
• Self-motivated, proactive, ability to work independently and collaborate seamlessly. Lead without authority.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Working closely with Strategic Forecasting Insights Director, determine appropriate forecast modeling approaches, tools, and techniques for asset(s) and/or indication(s).
• Partner with Marketing Engagement, Market Research, Data Science, Payer Analytics, and other DHH functions to develop insights strategies and plans for strategic forecasting.
• Develop and deliver forecasts and forecasting insights for cycles aligned with the company enterprise forecasting process across US and India-based teams.
• Support understanding of actual performance against forecast and emphasize drivers.
• Engage with Marketing, Market Access and Finance to align inputs, outputs, and insights for each cycle.
• Bring a range of forecasting capabilities to address business strategy and decision-making.
• Partner across a matrixed organization to operate as One Team.
• Drive frequent, clear communication about forecasting processes, inputs, insights, and related topics.
• Enable interconnected problem-solving with DHH and business colleagues around targeted questions.
• Be a thought leader and strategic partner through close, trust-based relationships.
• Understand stakeholders' priorities and help develop forecasting-related solutions that support business objectives.
