Job summary

MSD seeks an Associate Director, Strategic Forecasting, to develop strategic forecasts for products and indications, interpret implications, generate insights, and inform marketing strategy. You will partner with Market Research, Data Science, and Payer Analytics to shape inputs and drive cross‑functional alignment in a matrixed organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years delivering complex analytics in the pharma/biotech industry using market research or large datasets.
• Experience developing forecast models and scenario analysis.
• Experience leading cross-functional, matrixed teams with empathy and collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and lead without authority.

Responsibilities

• Determine forecast modelling approaches and tools for assets/indications.
• Partner with Marketing Engagement, Market Research, Data Science, Payer Analytics and other functions to plan insights.
• Develop and deliver forecasts aligned with the enterprise forecasting process for US/India teams.
• Explain performance against forecast and drivers to the business.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Market Access and Finance on inputs and outputs for each cycle.
