Job summary

Merck is seeking an Associate Director of Strategic Forecasting Insights to develop strategic forecasts for products and indications and translate insights to marketing strategy.

You will work with Digital Human Health functions, including Market Research, Data Science, and Payer Analytics, to shape market perspectives and input into forecasting. Strong leadership and a growth mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years delivering complex analytical projects in pharma/biotech.
• Experience developing forecast models and related analytics.
• Experience working in cross-functional, matrixed teams.
• Ability to lead diverse groups and manage ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Determine forecast modeling approaches and tools for assets/indications.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Market Research, Data Science, and Payer Analytics.
• Develop forecasts and insights aligned with enterprise forecasting process.
• Engage with business and Finance on inputs, outputs, and insights.
• Lead forecasting initiatives across US and India-based teams.
• Communicate forecasting processes and insights clearly to stakeholders.
• Build strategic forecasting solutions to support business objectives.
