Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 years banquet experience preferred (required).
• Certified Food Handler preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, train and evaluate staff; ensure open communication.
• Direct administration and planning for F&B to meet daily operation needs.
• Delegate responsibilities across sub-departments (room service, restaurants, banquets, kitchens, steward).
• Develop schedules to drive profitability.
• Collaborate on menus to attract target customers.
• Control food, beverage and labor costs per Crescent standards.
• Ensure compliance with laws for serving alcohol.
• Set and monitor quality, cleanliness, merchandising, and promotion standards.
• Review guest satisfaction and adjust policies as needed.
• Create operating tools such as budgeting, forecasts, recipes, portion specs.
• Mentor staff and provide training and development.
• Communicate clearly with staff.
• Attend regularly and perform other duties.
