Shutters on the Beach in Santa Monica, CA seeks a Food & Beverage Manager to lead the F&B division. The role demands profitability, staff development, and guest-centric service in a luxury hotel environment.

Qualifications include a four-year degree or equivalent, a Manager Food Handler Card, and TiPS certification. Experience in high-volume upscale restaurant management is required, with strong leadership and hospitality skills.

Competenze

• Four year degree or equivalent for a college or University; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current Manager Food Handler Card and Responsible Beverage Service training certification (i.e. TiPS Certification).
• Experience in high volume, upscale restaurant management experience of at least 3 years is a must.

Mansioni

• Supervises and ensures that restaurant food is served promptly and proper temperature; correct orders are taken and guests are seated immediately.
• Resolves guest complaints promptly and hospitably.
• Develops and implements training program.
• Prepares work schedule using 10 day forecast.
• Ensures that restaurant equipment is maintained.
• Demonstrates ability to achieve desired sales, cost and profit objectives, as established by budget.
