Job summary

Diverzify is seeking an Account Executive to guide customers in selecting flooring from our brands, serving bulk buyers and large corporations. You will handle daily sales calls, develop new business, and offer turnkey services to Facilities Managers, Architects, Designers, General Contractors, and Property Managers.

You will present flooring options, work with design firms on samples, manage budgets, and provide cost-saving ideas while overseeing projects of all sizes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in commercial flooring sales or similar roles would be beneficial.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 35%.

Responsibilities

• Compile and maintain a list of prospective customers for sales leads.
• Collaborate with suppliers, architects, designers, building owners, and contractors to meet budget and project needs.
• Build and maintain relationships with general contractors and architects; present flooring options.
• Submit pricing quotes and ensure contract accuracy with leadership; manage coordination (RFIs, submittals, orders, scheduling).
• Oversee site visits for quality control and manage changes and cost proposals.
• Coordinate change orders, billings, and close-out documentation with the project team.
