Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks an Operations Manager II to lead location-level operations and personnel for facilities handling up to 370 truck units.

You will plan labor, manage scheduling, and drive efficiency while ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with Ryder policies. You will recruit and develop staff, optimize maintenance workflows, and collaborate with Sales and Customer Care to meet service commitments and financial goals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in an operations environment or related Ryder role.
• Supervisory experience of 1–2 years or more.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage operations and personnel for locations with up to 131–370 units.
• Plan labor and schedule work to maximize productivity.
• Oversee labor mix and shift patterns; optimize APS usage.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop staff; manage payroll and incentives.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with SOPs and policies.
• Partner with Sales and Customer Care to meet service levels.
