Xcel Energy is seeking a Fleet Asset Manager to design, develop, and execute a fleet replacement strategy across multiple asset classes. You will collaborate with partners to build annual procurement plans, forecast capital needs, and maximize asset utilization while controlling costs.

This role emphasizes lifecycle cost analysis and cross-functional coordination with sourcing, finance, and operations. Ideal candidates will have a related bachelor’s degree, 5+ years in finance or supply chain,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field and five years of experience in accounting, finance, supply chain, or business planning/consulting; or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience in acquisition and disposal of fleet vehicles.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
• Strong computer skills required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Fleet management tools desired.

Responsibilities

• Manage 1,800 unit fleet of owned and rented assets.
• Ensure asset mix and location support operations.
• Propose/execute pooling and rental strategies.
• Leverage reporting tools to optimize fleet mix.
• Lead the development and implementation of a fleet asset annual plan.
• Provide monthly capital forecasts to finance.
