Xcel Energy is seeking a Fleet Asset Manager to design, develop, and execute a fleet asset replacement strategy for vehicles and equipment across its jurisdictions. You will develop standards, optimize asset utilization, and collaborate on annual procurement budgets with stakeholders.

You will lead lifecycle analyses, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure compliance with safety and design standards, while maintaining asset plans and forecasts with finance partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field such as mechanical engineering, supply chain management, computer science, business, mathematics, finance, or accounting, etc. and five years of experience in accounting, finance, Supply Chain, or business planning/consulting; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3 years experience in acquisition and disposal of fleet vehicles.
• Mechanical experience beneficial.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
• Strong computer skills required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Fleet management tools highly desirable.

Responsabilités

• Manage 1,800 unit fleet of owned and rented assets.
• Validate and manages annual fleet capital and rental proposals.
• Gather functional requirements and facilitates specification approvals with operations partners.
• Collaborate with Fleet Standards & Performance & Fleet Operations team members to maintain standard operating procedures.
• Establish and maintain relationships with contracted service suppliers and key stakeholders.
