Job summary

LST Group LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Flatbed Pricing Analyst to develop pricing strategies for flatbed transportation. You will analyze data, build pricing models, and collaborate with sales and operations to secure competitive rates across North America.

The role emphasizes margin management, market awareness, and strong relationships with carriers and customers. Location flexibility includes in-office or hybrid work arrangements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in freight pricing, logistics analytics, or transportation
• Strong Excel skills; experience with TMS and pricing/analytics tools is a plus
• Solid understanding of flatbed equipment types, lane dynamics, and market drivers
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with load boards and rate benchmarking tools preferred

Responsibilities

• Analyze flatbed freight rates, market trends, and lane-specific data to develop pricing
• Build and maintain pricing models for spot and contract flatbed freight
• Collaborate with sales and operations to quote rates for customers and carriers
• Monitor fuel costs, capacity trends, and seasonal demand to adjust pricing
• Evaluate historical shipment data to identify pricing opportunities and margin improvement
• Prepare regular reports and dashboards on pricing performance and market benchmarks
• Support RFP/RFQ processes with pricing analysis and bid strategy recommendations
• Partner with carrier procurement to align pricing with capacity
• Stay current on flatbed industry trends, regulations, and competitor pricing practices
