Job summary

True Anomaly, a growing aerospace finance team, seeks a Fixed Asset Accountant to own asset records across Colorado, California, and the Washington, DC area. You will ensure assets are recorded, tracked, and reported through their lifecycle while collaborating with Facilities, Operations, IT, and Engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least three years of progressive accounting experience, including direct experience with fixed asset accounting.
• Strong knowledge of fixed asset accounting principles, capitalization policies, depreciation, disposals, impairments, and asset reconciliations.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and the ability to apply accounting policies consistently across multiple locations.
• Experience supporting physical asset inventories, fixed asset audits, and asset verification processes.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, conditional formulas, and data analysis.
• Experience working with an ERP or accounting system with fixed asset functionality. NetSuite is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fixed asset records across locations (Colorado, California, DC).
• Record additions, transfers, disposals, retirements, impairments, and depreciation monthly.
• Prepare fixed asset reports and reconcile subledger to GL.
• Coordinate physical inventories and audits.
• Support internal and external audits and budgeting.
