Job summary

True Anomaly seeks a Senior Accountant to drive the month-end close, prepare monthly financial statements, and scale the accounting function. You will own entries in NetSuite, strengthen internal controls, and partner with cross-functional teams to improve processes.

This hybrid role requires being near Denver, CO, or Long Beach, CA, with on-site work some days. Equity and benefits are offered, and compensation is tailored to experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA a plus.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Experience with government contract accounting, FAR accounting standards, and DCAA compliance is a plus.
• Prior Aerospace and Defense experience a plus.
• Analytical with ownership, high attention to detail, and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare accruals and manage overhead and fringe allocations.
• Assist with fixed asset capitalization entries and maintain fixed asset register.
• Prepare and manage prepaid expense entries.
• Support policy implementation and best practices in accounting.
• Identify opportunities to streamline close processes and improve efficiency.
• Support preparation of Financial Statements and CAS-related accounting for CAS-covered contracts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance processes and systems.
• Support the annual audit and serve as liaison with other departments.
