City of Mesa is seeking a Fiscal Analyst to perform professional-level fiscal analysis, research, accounting, forecasting, and budget-related work within the Water Resources Department. The role may supervise staff and supports preparation and administration of capital and operating budgets, ensuring compliance with standards and policies.

The position requires independent judgment, development of programs, and timely financial reporting for the department and citywide needs.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance/business-related field.
• Five years of professional-level budget/financial experience.
• Experience with PC-based financial systems (3-5 years).
• Master's degree may substitute two years of experience.

Educación

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Public or Business Administration

Experience in budget preparation, accounting, financial cost analysis

Experience using PC-based financial systems
