Job summary

The City of San Diego is seeking a Supervising Management Analyst to lead budgetary/fiscal analyses, organizational studies, and long-range planning. You will supervise staff, develop research reports, and present findings to management and City Council.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education (i.e., minimum completed units = 120 semester/180 quarter).
• One year of full-time experience = 30 semester/45 quarter college-level units (education substitution).
• Master's Degree may substitute for a maximum of one year of required experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assign, supervise, review, and evaluate the work of subordinate staff.
• Perform budgetary/fiscal and administrative/organizational analyses and long-range financial planning.
• Develop and present detailed research reports and recommendations to management and City Council.
