The City of Las Vegas invites applications for Budget Analyst to lead, coordinate and participate in the development, coordination, administration and monitoring of a large and complex department budget.

Ideal candidate will bring a broad background in financial and governmental accounting, with strong Excel skills, including the ability to analyze, manipulate, and present complex financial data, develop reports, and utilize advanced formulas and functions.

Qualifications

• Three years of progressively responsible experience in accounting, finance, budgeting, financial analysis or a closely related field.
• Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree with a major in finance, accounting, business, public administration, economics or other related field.
• Hands-on Excel skills with ability to analyze, manipulate, and present complex financial data.
