The City of Albuquerque is seeking a Finance/Accounting Analyst to conduct, analyze and monitor a variety of fiscal activities including budgeting, accounts payable, purchasing and accounts receivable for the assigned department.

The role requires coordinating with other divisions, outside agencies and the public, preparing forecasts and financial reports, and supporting the annual budget process and related audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting or finance; three (3) years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or accounting.
• Possession of a valid New Mexico Driver's License, or the ability to obtain by date of hire.
• Possession of a City Operator's Permit (COP) within six (6) months from date of hire.

Responsabilités

• Conduct, analyze and monitor a variety of fiscal activities for the assigned department including budgeting, accounts payable, purchasing, and accounts receivable.
• Prepare forecasts and analyze budget trends related to revenues and expenditures.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and assist in the annual budgeting process.
• Coordinate with other divisions, outside agencies and the public on financial matters.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
