Job summary

JPMorgan Chase’s Strategic Financing Solutions (SFS) group seeks an Associate to participate in the full cycle of corporate financing transactions. You will help prepare pitches, analyze financials, and present memoranda and client materials in a dynamic capital markets environment.

You will support senior team members across product areas, coordinate with trading desks, and contribute to developing new financing approaches for a diverse set of industries and sponsors.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in a markets related transactional role or related investment banking front office experience
• Strong quantitative skills and intellectual curiosity
• Quick learner with ability to understand products across asset classes
• Team player who works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong understanding of corporate finance
• Execution oriented and understands transaction cycle
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior professionals and clients
• Self-directed, motivated, and able to work independently

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of and analyze transaction structures across asset classes (e.g., Digital Infrastructure ABS, Bespoke Loans, securitizations)
• Analyze corporate financing needs and assets to identify revenue opportunities
• Prepare materials for client calls and meetings, including presentations on new products and market updates
• Facilitate client engagements by responding to inquiries and pitching ideas
• Coordinate among sales, trading, Banking, Risk, legal and other involved parties to drive deal execution
• Work with rating agencies, lawyers, internal control functions and all deal parties to complete transactions
• Develop new products and platforms to broaden the bank’s offerings in credit and loan financing
• Track industry and market developments regarding product offerings
• Support senior team members in originating and structuring corporate financing transactions
