Job summary

J&J Snack Foods Corp is seeking a Manager of Financial Reporting to lead the preparation of internal and external financial statements and oversee month-end close activities. The role emphasizes GAAP mastery, SOX compliance, and collaboration with auditors to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

You will guide process improvements, supervise staff, and provide accounting guidance while maintaining organized records and supporting regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
• CPA or progress toward CPA is preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a public company or public accounting firm.
• Must have SEC Reporting experience.

Responsibilities

• Support and execute the month-end close process with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare analysis and documentation on complex accounting areas such as leases and stock-based compensation.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial reports for GAAP compliance.
• Assist in quarterly SEC filings and related tie-out of reporting documents.
